Role: Social Worker/Care Manager
Salary: Grade K £46,142 - £49,282 a year. Grade L if practising as an AMHP £50,269 - £53,460 a year
Location: Various Locations, based at Council House, Derby
Hours: 37 hours a week

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and supportive Mental Health Social Care Teams.
We are looking to appoint a Qualified Social Worker with sound assessment skills and a demonstrable commitment to placing customers and carers at the heart of assessment and support planning. There is a strong culture of preventative, strengths-based and asset-based approaches within our work. We work closely with partner agencies including health and VCSE to provide an integrated approach to the delivery of support. You should ideally have experience of working with adults with severe mental ill health and of multidisciplinary working.
This post is a designated Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) Post. Therefore, you will need to hold an existing AMHP qualification or be committed to undertake the post qualification pathway towards this qualification and practice as an AMHP.
