Care That Reaches Every Corner

At Beehive Care & Training Group Ltd, we believe that everyone is entitled to high-quality care, whether they live in a town centre or a remote cottage down a winding country lane. That’s why we’re expanding our hive across Mid Devon’s rural communities, and we’re looking for kind, reliable carers who are confident driving to remote locations via country lanes—in all weather and at all times of day.

A Role That Balances Routine & Flexibility

We offer both full-time contracts and part-time opportunities to suit a range of lifestyles:

Full-Time: 37.5 hours/week across 5 days

Part-Time: Flexible hours to suit your availability

Alternate weekends included

Shifts include:

Morning: 07:00 – 14:00

Midday: 10:00 – 16:00

Evening: 16:00 – 22:00

We ask for a minimum of 3 morning or evening shifts per week, and you can pick up additional hours through our Click to Care app. We’ll build a rota that works for you—while ensuring clients receive consistent, quality care.

What You’ll Do

Each visit is unique, but your role always centres around providing warmth, dignity, and comfort. You’ll support clients with:

* Personal care that respects privacy and promotes independence
* Preparing meals and supporting hydration
* Medication prompts or administration
* Light household tasks (laundry, tidying, fresh bedding)
* Safe mobility and movement assistance
* Friendly conversation, reassurance, and companionship
* Quick, simple care recording via our mobile app
* You’ll be the friendly face your clients trust—especially in rural areas where your visit may be the only one they receive that day.

What You’ll Need

* A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
* Confidence driving in rural areas, including country lanes and remote locations
* The right to work in the UK (we are not able to offer sponsorship)
* A genuine, caring nature and a commitment to quality care
* Basic confidence using a smartphone—we’ll guide you if needed!

What You’ll Receive

* £26,000 annual salary (pro rata for part-time)
* 45p per mile travel allowance
* 28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays)
* Paid day off for your birthday
* Care Friends bonus scheme – earn rewards for referrals and recognition
* Paid induction and 12-week mentoring support
* Ongoing training and career development
* Free uniform provided
* Contributory pension scheme
* Simple scheduling via our Click to Care app
* Supportive, friendly team culture where you\'re always more than just a number

Why Beehive?

Because at Beehive, you’re not just filling a rota—you’re filling hearts.

We work as a team, lift each other up, and celebrate every act of care. You’ll be part of a community that values the little things—because we know they mean the most.

Ready to Join the Hive?

If you’re ready to bring your kindness and care to a role that truly matters—especially in places where care is harder to reach—we’d love to meet you.
