Job description
We are looking for an experienced sheet metal worker to join our team. This is a full time role with overtime available, in a Burnley based workshop. Please note some travelling to client sites with overnight stays will be required.
We are initially looking for candidates seeking full time employment, but may also consider taking the right person on a sub contract basis.
The role involves fabrication and assembly of complex machinery as well as site work installing and maintaining equipment for customers.
Principle Responsibilities:
· Carry out manufacture to engineering tolerances to a high standard and specification.
· Undertake complete fabrications to an appropriate professional standard.
· Undertake any other duties in order to meet personal, team and organisational objectives following consultation.
· Ensure the adherence to organisational policies and procedures in the discharging of principal accountabilities and functions.
Key Requirements
· Qualified to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, in Fabrication and welding or sheet metal work
· Experience in mechanical fitting & fabrication essential
· Full UK driving licence
· Experience working in a food production environment would be desirable, but not essential.

Please note that this is a physically demanding role that involves a significant amount of bending, twisting, kneeling and crouching.
