Citrus Recruit are currently recruiting for an Maintenace Controller for our fleet management client based just outside of Solihull.
The client specialises in providing comprehensive fleet management solutions to their clients across various industries.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the maintenance from cars through to light vans. Ensuring cost control, exceptional customer service, and efficient resolution of maintenance-related issues.
Working with the garages to analyse and diagnose route cause to the issue and authorise repairs in line with vehicle contracts.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
· Manage and control servicing and repair costs for all fleet vehicles.
· Analyse causes of mechanical failures and make sound technical decisions to minimise vehicle downtime.
· Maximise vehicle warranties and advise clients on maintenance-related issues.
· Drive a strong customer service culture within the team, ensuring high levels of accountability and engagement.
· Advise clients on maintenance related issues covering their vehicle’s contract entitlements and inclusions such as - Tyre Allowance, Roadside Assistance and Accident Management.
· Drive a strong customer service culture.
· Owning their team KPIs and working towards high customer satisfaction ratings.
Skills & experience required.
· Extensive experience in the motor industry.
· Experience in negotiating with suppliers.
· Excellent discretion and tact in dealings with people.
· Comfortable having technical conversations with mechanics and relaying that to the driver.
· Preferably you have worked with Epyx and 1Link systems.
