Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in Region, the key requirements include:

* 3rd Level Building Services / Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background
* Minimum 3 years’ plus experience in a site-based MEP role
* Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team

Key responsibilities:

* Ensure Mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing health and safety of all stakeholders in every decision and action.
* Lead by example, communicating company-specific Health & Safety policies and integrating safety into all discussions.
* Be aware of hazardous energies on site and ensure all stakeholders are informed of management strategies like Lock Out Tag Out.
* Maintain thorough knowledge of project Mechanical systems and monitor installation to ensure compliance with specifications and schedule.
* Understand project-specific commissioning requirements and assist in developing Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs).
* Conduct site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP & CSA works to verify adherence to standards.
* Coordinate to meet CSA and MEP quality standards for beneficial use, aligned with the construction schedule.
* Provide stakeholders with sufficient information to facilitate system installation and progress according to the master plan.
* Ensure contractors and vendors are properly resourced to execute electrical activities efficiently.
* Review the master construction schedule to identify opportunities for sequencing and focus on work faces to enhance delivery.
* Lead and participate in onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders.
* Issue weekly progress and cost reports as required.
* Manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress and manpower against schedules.
* Review and ensure deliverables from mechanical stakeholders, including programs, work documents, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover packs.
