Job Description
Purpose of the role
To develop, implement, and maintain an effective resilience strategy and Operational Recovery Planning and Incident Management framework aligned to industry standards and regulatory expectations, enabling the bank to respond and recover important business services during severe but plausible scenarios, minimizing impact to customers, clients, colleagues, and the wider market.
Accountabilities
* Socialize and implement the resilience strategy and framework across the firm, ensuring compliance with standards and controls.
* Develop and enhance the crisis and incident management framework to improve recovery and response capabilities, ensuring continued operation of Important Business Services during disruptions.
* Enhance operational recovery planning and security incident management standards according to industry practices and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee improvements in business and technology recovery capabilities, including third-party suppliers, to ensure service resilience within impact tolerance thresholds.
* Communicate the firm's resilience status through scorecards and dashboards to support investment decisions by senior management.
* Regularly test resilience, crisis, and incident response plans to demonstrate capability to recover within impact tolerances.
* Ensure services and products are built resiliently through change management processes.
* Stay informed on resilience developments, regulatory policies, and emerging threats.
* Identify, respond to, and resolve incidents threatening the bank's operations, infrastructure, or personnel.
* Document incidents, resolution steps, and lessons learned to inform preventative measures and process improvements.
