L3 Teaching Assistant (Pupil Engagement Team - fixed term 1 year in the first instance)
Grade 7: £30,024-£32,061 (Full time salary). The salary for this role is pro rata the above, and is for 32.5 hrs per week / 39 weeks per annum (plus holiday entitlement). This is calculated at an hourly rate of £15.56 rising to £15.81 after six months, then incremental rises annually to a maximum of £16.61 (current payscale as of 02.09.2025).
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a new member to join our pupil engagement team. This team plays a key part in improving engagement, regulation and ensuring the development of high performing, impactful behaviour systems and strategies in the school.
Under the guidance of a designated senior leader, this team takes an active role in ensuring the approach to well-being, behaviour and regulation interventions for pupils, including managing pupil behaviour. The role will involve ensuring strategies and approaches are implemented effectively and appropriate systems are used to track, monitor and evaluate pupil progress. Pupil centred practices, excellent teamwork, creative thinking, confidentiality and a capacity to work hard in a demanding environment is at the core of this team's success. Members of this team are flexible with the ability, determination and commitment to work collaboratively with the senior leadership team to further the strategic direction of the school.
This position has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check
Responsibilities
* Join the Pupil Engagement Team to improve engagement, regulation and the development of high performing behaviour systems and strategies in the school.
* Under guidance of a designated senior leader, implement wellbeing, behaviour and regulation interventions for pupils and manage pupil behaviour.
* Ensure strategies and approaches are implemented effectively and use appropriate systems to track, monitor and evaluate pupil progress.
* Work with pupil-centred practices, demonstrate excellent teamwork, confidentiality and a strong work ethic in a demanding environment.
* Collaborate with the senior leadership team to support the school’s strategic direction.
