Overview
We are seeking an experienced Epicor ERP Transformation Lead to oversee the end-to-end delivery of a major ERP transformation programme. This role will be pivotal in driving business change, ensuring successful implementation of Epicor across multiple business units, and realising measurable operational and financial benefits.
The successful candidate will combine strong programme management capability with deep understanding of Epicor ERP (ideally Kinetic), business process re-engineering, and stakeholder engagement across finance, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full lifecycle of the Epicor ERP transformation, from strategy and design through to deployment, adoption, and optimisation.
* Develop and manage the programme roadmap, timelines, and resource plans aligned with business priorities.
* Oversee all workstreams (functional, technical, data, and change management), ensuring alignment and integration across the business.
* Collaborate closely with Epicor consultants, internal IT teams, and external vendors to deliver a best-fit solution.
* Facilitate business process mapping and re-engineering to align with Epicor’s capabilities and best practices.
* Establish governance frameworks, risk registers, and quality assurance processes to ensure project control and transparency.
* Manage stakeholder relationships at all levels, including executive sponsors and department heads, ensuring effective communication and change readiness.
* Drive data migration, testing, and user training activities to ensure smooth cutover and adoption.
* Track and report on KPIs and ROI metrics post-implementation to validate business benefits.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience leading Epicor ERP implementation or transformation programmes (ideally Epicor Kinetic).
* Demonstrable programme or project management expertise, preferably with PRINCE2, MSP, or PMP certification.
* Strong understanding of core business functions such as finance, manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain.
* Hands-on experience with ERP deployment methodologies, including agile or hybrid delivery models.
* Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills across business and IT teams.
* Familiarity with data migration, integration, and reporting processes.
* Experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators.
* Strong leadership and change management skills, with the ability to guide teams through complex transformation.
Desirable
* Experience with Epicor Kinetic cloud migration projects.
* Previous exposure to manufacturing or distribution industries.
* Experience in business process improvement frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma.
