Craft Engineering Technician
Droitwich
Permanent contract: 4 on 4 off, day shifts (Mon, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 7am-5.30pm)
We are looking to recruit a Craft Engineering Technician to join our Droitwich dairy within our Muller Milk & Ingredients business. As a Craft Engineer you’ll provide a maintenance service to all plant/manufacturing equipment, with emphasis on the improved plant availability and reliability.
Responsibilities as Craft Engineering Technician
* Be responsible for mechanical and basic electrical isolation
* Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance activities
* Bring new ideas to ensure continuous improvement and reliability of manufacturing equipment
* Advise on engineering practice and maintenance issues within engineering
* Participate/lead BDRs, SEA and RCA requirement as part of a team
What we’re looking for from a Craft Engineering Technician
* NVQ2 or equivalent in basic engineering
* Relevant engineering experience
* Excellent written and verbal English
* Ability to problem solve
* Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
* Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality systems and procedures
* Knowledge of a specific work task
* Ability to work alone as well as in a team
