IMH Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Business Support Officer / Administrator to work with our client based in Bolton, BL1.
This role will provide high-quality business and administrative support to the Head of Capital Projects and the wider Capital Projects team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating diaries, meetings, and managing competing priorities
* Managing shared inboxes, correspondence, and service communications
* Maintaining accurate project, financial, and administrative records
* Supporting procurement processes and contract administration
* Drafting notes, reports, and routine correspondence
* Supporting reporting, governance, and continuous improvement activity
* Liaising with colleagues, clients, contractors, and stakeholders
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Excellent ICT skills, including Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and governance
* Ability to manage workload under supervision and meet deadlines
* Experience working within a Council or public sector environment is required
Desirable:
* Minimum HNC in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related subject (or equivalent experience)
* Experience providing business or administrative support in a busy office
Hours & Pay:
* Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
* £14.91 per hour
* Weekly pay whilst through the agency!
