Experience required…
Essential:
* Good UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client
* Experienced in the analysis, design, and assessment of all types of highway structures
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a good understanding of structural behaviour.
* Able to conduct structural analyses to assess the load-carrying capacity of bridges in accordance with DMRB standards.
* Able to use behavioural understanding and experience to understand why structures may be performing better than assessments suggest.
Desirable:
* Professional membership or demonstrable progress towards this
* A full UK driving licence
* Relevant design software/CAD/Civils 3D where appropriate
* Experience of working on a wide range of bridge types including masonry arches, prestressed and post tensioned concrete, and various types of steel bridges
* Experience of using LUSAS and ARCHIE-M
