Document Controller | London | £45,000 – £55,000 Excellent Benefits We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a leading main contractor delivering high-spec commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across London and the South East. You’ll play a key role in supporting the project teams and ensuring all document control procedures are maintained to the highest standards throughout the project lifecycle. The Role * Manage and maintain document control systems for multiple live projects. * Upload, issue, and track drawings, specifications, and technical documents using document management software. * Ensure all project documentation meets company and client standards. * Work closely with design managers, engineers, and site teams to control document flow. * Coordinate RFI, submittal, and approval processes to maintain project compliance. * Maintain revision control and ensure all stakeholders have access to current information. * Support pre-construction and project close-out documentation. * Provide training and guidance to project staff on document control procedures. About You * Proven experience as a Document Controller within the construction or fit-out sector. * Strong understanding of document control systems such as Viewpoint, 4Projects, Asite, Aconex, or SharePoint. * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. * Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. * Confident communicator and proactive problem solver. * Experience working across commercial, corporate office, or interior fit-out projects is a strong advantage.
