Lecturer Childcare and Health & Social Care – 36 hours per week – Fixed Term Contract – Maternity Cover
Salary: £28,555 to £36,092 per annum – Hertford Regional College – Broxbourne Campus
An opportunity exists at Hertford Regional College for a dynamic Lecturer in Childcare and Health and Social Care, for a fixed term contract, who will deliver the full range of professional services associated with programmes of teaching, learning, assessment, and student support. Your main responsibilities will include delivering on the Childcare and Health and Social Care level 1 courses, with some teaching on levels 2 and 3, and supporting learners in developing their English and Maths skills. You will also have personal tutor and program manager responsibilities for the level 1 Childcare and Health and Social Care students.
You should be a qualified teacher with experience teaching the underpinning theory related to Childcare/Health and Social Care. Experience as a personal tutor, working in a learning environment, and industry experience are essential. You should be a flexible team player with excellent organizational skills and a proven track record of supporting students with additional academic and emotional needs.
