Group Head of Financial Management We are currently looking for a Group Head of Financial Management to join The Sovini Group. As a Group Head of Financial Management, you will be expected to: Lead, manage and co-ordinate the provision of the Groups CBS Financial Management and Statutory Accounting functions. Oversee operations including financial/statutory accounts production, Service Level Agreement monitoring and consolidated budget/accounts production. Build strong collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders. Commit to equality and diversity and to promote non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of work undertaken. To be successful in a Group Head of Financial Management role, the skills you will need : Professional qualification in associated discipline. Minimum 3-5 years financial experience at a senior level within an external audit, Registered Provider or large complex organisation. Experience and sound understanding of year end closedown procedures and the production of statutory accounts. Experience of leading an external audit process. Demonstrable experience of producing, reviewing, co-ordinating and consolidating entity and group management accounts (management and statutory) within a multiple entity group organisation. Experience of multi departmental/company Service Level Agreement production. Experience of consolidated budget preparation, including production of monthly consolidated management accounts. Experience of collating KPI performance data. Production of Board, Committee, and Management reports. Experience of working effectively with EMTs, Boards and Committees, with effective influencing and relationship management skills. Experience of motivating, mentoring, management and directing the activities of a team, including direct supervision. Self-motivated and able to plan and prioritise effectively in order to optimise resources to achieve targets and meet report and other deadlines. Commercially driven with excellent organisational and financial management skills. Have a comprehensive working knowledge of FRS, Housing SORP, and the Companies Act, and be able to apply to statutory reporting statements. Ability to analyse, interpret and present complex information clearly and concisely to produce management information reports. Evidence of a commitment to develop existing financial and technical knowledge, seek opportunities for continuous improvement and adopt a proactive approach to self-development. High level of interpersonal skills, and the ability to organise and lead meetings and workshops. Skilled at motivating and leading staff committed to the vision and values of the Group. Ability to plan and prioritise effectively in order to achieve targets and meet deadlines. Ability to be flexible and adaptive to change, influencing cultural and organisational change and challenging norms. Excellent communication skills, possessing the ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the organisation across multiple communication channels including Teams and face-to-face. Ability to use Microsoft office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Ability to work in an agile working environment. Team player with the ability to work off own initiative.
