An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Enterprise Architect to play a key role in shaping and guiding technology across a complex, multi site operational environment. This is a senior position for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands on architectural delivery and who wants to see architecture translated into real operational outcomes.
About the role
You will be responsible for setting and evolving the enterprise architecture vision, principles and roadmaps, ensuring technology decisions are aligned with long term business and operational goals. Working closely with senior business and operational leaders, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping to shape investment decisions and major transformation initiatives.
In addition to strategic leadership, you will remain actively involved in solution architecture, producing high quality designs and providing architectural oversight from concept through to implementation.
Key responsibilities include;
• Defining and maintaining enterprise architecture strategy, standards and principles
• Translating business objectives into clear, actionable architectural direction
• Providing architectural governance and design assurance across major programmes
• Producing high level solution designs, integration patterns and architectural artefacts
• Supporting delivery teams to ensure solutions are coherent, scalable, secure and sustainable
• Working closely with infrastructure, data and security teams to ensure alignment across domains
• Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across business and technology
About you
This role would suit a senior Enterprise Architect with experience operating in complex organisations and delivering large scale change. You will be comfortable influencing at senior level, confident in making architectural decisions, and motivated by environments where architecture has real impact.
You will bring;
• Strong experience in enterprise architecture roles
• A track record of modernising legacy platforms and shaping future technology landscapes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience providing architectural governance and design assurance
• The ability to balance strategic direction with hands on delivery
