As our Maintenance Planner, you’ll be the strategic heartbeat of our engineering operations, ensuring every task is scheduled, coordinated, and executed with precision. From daily KPIs and preventative maintenance to contractor coordination and audit readiness, you’ll keep everything running smoothly. Beyond planning, you’ll analyse completed work to identify trends, drive plant reliability, control costs, and champion continuous improvement across the site.
This role is based at our Davidstow site. The work pattern is Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible hours available.
YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…
* Developing and issuing detailed maintenance schedules
* Balancing planned workloads with operational priorities
* Attending daily and weekly engineering meetings
* Producing reports to reduce downtime and track compliance
* Maintaining and administering CMMS data and documentation
* Coordinating service visits and certification activities
* Supporting engineering stores with stock variance reviews
* Leading improvements in maintenance processes and asset care
YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE…
* Technically qualified in engineering, with an HND or similar level of education.
* Experienced in FMCG or food manufacturing
* Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail and planning
* Proficient in CMMS systems (AX or similar) and Microsoft tools
* Analytical and data-driven, with a passion for continuous improvement
* A confident communicator who can influence
* Knowledgeable in condition monitoring and preventative maintenance
* Aware of engineering safety and compliance standards
