Discover Impactful Work: The Medical Director will provide medical support and advice for clinical trials and safety evaluation within the Pharmacovigilance department.
A day in the Life:
* Provide medical leadership to study teams, including creating clinical trial protocols, reviewing and approving study documents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Real-time medical monitoring of clinical studies to ensure validity and safety, proactively addressing issues.
* Support protocol review, site selection, and serve as liaison between sponsor and internal teams, including investigator education and issue resolution.
* Act as medical point of contact for stakeholders, including answering questions from investigators, IRBs, and health authorities, and providing medical training.
* Ensure study compliance with SOPs and GCP guidelines.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify medical risks and results.
Candidates with experience in strategic development at the senior Medical Director level are preferred.
Education:
* MD, MB/BS, or equivalent with clinical experience in Rheumatology.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
* Significant pharmaceutical industry and clinical trial experience.
* Fluent in English.
* Understanding of NDA submission processes and regulatory guidelines for adverse events.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
