As a Senior Design Manager, you'll play a vital role in design management on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in river and coastal engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Cities & Development. We deliver industry-leading solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. If you're passionate about this industry, we’d love to talk to you.
We have opportunities in our offices in Epsom, Peterborough, Bristol, Exeter, Swansea, Birmingham, and Manchester.
Your Purpose:
* Deliver high-quality technical design work following relevant standards and codes.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Manage project risks effectively.
* Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring:
* Chartered Civil Engineer.
* Experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary and Design & Build projects.
* Knowledge of coastal defenses, flood walls, embankments, weirs, hydraulic structures, culverts, scour protection, access, accessibility, and construction logistics.
* Familiarity with UK design standards, guidance, and practices.
* Ability to deliver traditional and environmentally focused solutions using nature-based strategies.
* Commercial, contractual, and program management experience.
