Job Opportunity: Qualified Teaching Assistant – EYFS & KS1
Location: Carlisle
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary (with potential for long-term)
Pay: £13.70–£15/hr (DOE)
Flexibility: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Job Share

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and passionate Teaching Assistant to make a meaningful impact across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1).
What You’ll Do
* General classroom support across EYFS and KS1
* 1:1 assistance for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Collaborative support with teachers to foster a nurturing, engaging learning environment
This role offers flexibility and can be tailored to suit your availability—whether you're seeking full-time hours or a part-time/job share arrangement.
What We’re Looking For
* A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above)
* Recent experience (within the last 12 months) in a school or educational setting
* A caring, proactive, and adaptable approach to supporting children’s development
