Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to perform maintenance, repair, and improvement work on properties owned by the council and external agencies, in accordance with contract and service level agreements.
The successful candidate will be part of the Repairs and Occupied Upgrades team.
The role requires participation in an out-of-hours standby rota and may involve evening and weekend work for emergencies.
The post holder is expected to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and organization.

Requirements
This position involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. If you have spent 3 or more months outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check is required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
A minimum of one reference from your current or most recent employer is required.
