Finance Assistant (6-Month Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Glasgow City Centre (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum
Are you a recent graduate in Accountancy and Finance looking to take the first step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our finance team as a Finance Assistant on a 6-month fixed term contract.
Based in the heart of Glasgow with flexible hybrid working, this role offers hands-on experience in key areas of finance, including Accounts Payable and Credit Control. It’s an ideal stepping stone for those seeking practical exposure in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments
* Assisting with the reconciliation of accounts
* Supporting the credit control process by monitoring outstanding balances and liaising with clients
* Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with month-end tasks
* Collaborating with internal departments to resolve queries and ensure smooth financial operations
What We’re Looking For:
* A degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
* Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
* Good communication and organisational abilities
