Purpose
The Skills Transition Programme will be providing support to unemployed individuals
with the aim of progressing them into energy transition roles. It will deliver one-week and two-week skills programmes containing modules toimprove knowledge, awareness and energy transition related skills; alongside more specific employability skills (e.g. interview techniques, CV development) to supportthem into employment. The courses will primarily be non- regulated however regulated qualifications may be an option in the future.
The Journey Advisor - Skills Transition, will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting referrals, undertaking an initial assessment, supporting with creation of a CV and moving them into employment. The role will predominately be face to face in Birmingham & the West Midlands however there will also be remote national delivery.

The Journey Advisor will prioritise the participant's needs by providing individualized, timely support, encouragement, and guidance. They will establish and maintain strong networks to drive referrals and create opportunities for participants. They will work diligently towards targets, ensuring compliance and upholding quality standards to deliver exceptional outcomes for the participant.
