Job Specification – Production Planner- Browns Food Group trading as Halls of Scotland, Prestwick
Reports to:
General Manager
Role Purpose:
The role of the Production Planner is to plan and control the flow of materials, information and resources to meet sales requirements and all deadlines whilst ensuring OTIF service levels are met
Key Accountabilities
* Efficient planning of end-to-end process
* Scheduling chilled and frozen food manufacturing to maximise customer service level
* Resource planning
* Capacity modelling
* Campaign stock build
* Plan attainment analysis
* Liaising with procurement, production and sales depts
* Reporting / presenting performance metrics

Qualifications & experience- required
* Previous planning experience in FMCG
* Advanced MS Excel knowledge and capability
* Experience in building and developing planning tools (Excel)
Qualifications & experience- advantageous
* Chilled and frozen food manufacturing experience
* SAGE Experience
Measures of performance:
* OTIF
* Capacity planning
* Finished Goods stock control – fresh and frozen sales
* Forecasting – managing raw material shortages and surpluses
* Efficient production scheduling
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
