Pre-Sales Consultant - Business Applications (Microsoft Ecosystem) - Fully remote
We’re working with a leading UK technology solutions provider that is investing in its pre-sales and business applications capability. As part of this growth, they’re looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant to bridge the gap between customer challenges and innovative Microsoft-based solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys discovery workshops, shaping proposals, and influencing solution design while still remaining hands-on when required.
The Role
You’ll work closely with Sales, Professional Services, and technical delivery teams to:
* Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business challenges and transformation goals
* Translate requirements into high-level solution designs within the Microsoft ecosystem
* Shape and present compelling technical proposals and statements of work
* Provide technical input into bids, tenders, and commercial proposals
* Design scalable, secure, and business-focused solutions
* Support client presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements
* Ensure smooth transition from pre-sales into delivery teams
* Maintain awareness of evolving Microsoft technologies and market trends
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a pre-sales, solution consultant, or technical consultant role
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft business applications (Power Platform experience beneficial)
* Confident running workshops and presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience contributing to proposals, bids, and commercial documentation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to design robust, scalable solutions aligned to business outcomes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Microsoft certifications are advantageous
