Salary: £35,665.00 per annum

Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair non-motorised GSE, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and regulatory standards
* Perform welding and fabrication tasks to recognised industry standards
* Carry out routine servicing, refurbishment, and minor bodywork/branding repairs
* Ensure safe working practices, especially when handling hazardous substances
* Keep accurate maintenance records using our computer-based fleet management system
* Support workshop cleanliness and report defects promptly
* Provide cover at other Swissport fleet workshops when needed
* Share knowledge and support the development of colleagues
* Participate in training and development to maintain professional standards
Qualifications
* Recognised welding/fabrication qualification or equivalent
* Technical apprenticeship to NVQ Level 2 or similar
* Solid mechanical engineering experience
* Proficiency in basic engineering, sheet metalwork, and use of workshop tools
* Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling up to 25kg
* Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* Full valid UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel for training or support at other stations
