Responsibilities
* Managing and executing statutory audits, from planning through to completion.
* Taking initiative and managing your team to ensure audits are completed within budget.
* Acting as the primary contact for clients during on-site audits.
* Supervising audit teams, reviewing work, and assisting senior staff in project management and client communication.
* Delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
* Reporting to senior management on complex audit assignments and managing a portfolio of clients.
* Ensuring work is profitable, timely, and meets professional standards and client satisfaction.
* Contributing to continuous improvement within the team.
* Leading assurance and risk management projects, liaising with clients, and preparing reports.
Purpose of the Role
As a qualified Accountant, Assistant Managers in our Audit division lead teams on various audit assignments, particularly in corporate sectors. The role involves adhering to deadlines, managing work progress, identifying additional service opportunities, and liaising with other experts as needed.
Technical Skills, Experience & Knowledge
* Providing practical business advice and referring complex issues to partners.
* Having a thorough understanding of business cycle controls, audit risks, and business implications.
Required Qualifications
* Membership of a recognized CCAB body (e.g., ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, ICAI, AICPA).
* Commitment to ongoing professional development in relevant areas.
