Our client are seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive Science Technician to join a welcoming school in West London. This is a vital support role within the science department, well suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and supporting high-quality practical science lessons for pupils and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting and preparing practical lessons alongside the Science Teachers
* Ensuring equipment and materials are safely stored when not in use
* Guiding staff and pupils in correct Health & Safety policies
* Maintaining and repairing all resources when required
* Keeping track of what is out of stock and making the necessary orders when needed
* Disposing of hazardous waste in a safe manner
The Ideal Candidate will have
* Right to work in the UK
* Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
* UK Science Degree or overseas equivalent
* Health & Safety knowledge
* Experience in a lab setting or as a Science Technician in a UK school
