We are seeking
two Software Engineers to join the Computational Health Informatics (CHI) Lab at the Department of Engineering Science, based at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering in Headington. The post is funded by NIHR Oxford BRC and is fixed-term for 12 months in the first instance. About The Role The ideal candidates will have experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating healthcare interventions, with an interest in mobile app development. Those appointed will be responsible for the development and maintenance of remote monitoring systems including wearable devices, the integration of new wearable devices into the existing remoting monitoring system, and the integration of algorithms for automatic analysis of data received at the backend. About You You should hold a MSC degree in a relevant field, and have experience of web development, SQL or NoSQL database management systems, and working with JAVA (or Kotlin) for native Android development. Candidates should also have knowledge of software testing processes, and software version control (preferably Git) and be comfortable working in Windows Server back-end environments.
