Salaried GP – Lerwick GP Practice (Ref: 245099)
2 Substantive posts – up to full time (40 hours) available; part‑time applications welcome.
Salary: £83,950 – £125,157 per annum, depending on experience (includes 2% local supplement).
Benefits: £2,578 Distant Island Allowance per annum, relocation assistance up to £8,000 (all pro‑rata for part‑time).
We welcome GPs with a special interest to develop, including opportunities to join the voluntary out‑of‑hours rota.
The practice is a training retainer team, dedicating one afternoon each week to clinical learning and governance.
We work closely with an interdisciplinary MDT comprising an in‑house pharmacist, physiotherapist and Advanced Nurse Practitioner, as well as the Community Mental Health and Community Nurse teams located in the same building.
The practice is committed to sustainability, employing nature prescribing and a fully electric fleet of vehicles and bike for home visits.
