SEN Teaching Assistant (Psychology Graduates Required!)
Reading – Primary and Secondary Special Education Needs (SEN) School.

An outstanding co‑educational special school in Reading is recruiting Specialist Teaching Assistants to join their team. The school supports children aged 5–16 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours. The role is full‑time, long‑term, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children and young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, autism spectrum conditions, ADHD, complex learning needs and other communication difficulties.
* Work in partnership with external professionals – educational and occupational psychologists, counsellors and speech and language therapists.
* Shadow and collaborate with these professionals to deliver therapeutic support within the school’s curriculum and extra‑curricular activities.
* Contribute to a highly specialist, personalized learning environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Psychology graduate or relevant background.
* Experience or interest in SEN, autism, ADHD, and complex learning needs preferred.
* Resilient, ambitious and passionate about supporting children with complex needs.
Remuneration & Hours
£90–£115 per day. Full‑time, Mon‑Fri 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
