Join to apply for the Registered Manager - Children role at Aspris. This home is a medium to long-term placement for up to 4 young people aged 8 to 17 years with emotional and behavioural difficulties. It offers a homely environment and a dedicated staff team within a larger Aspris group.
Our home is currently OUTSTANDING with Ofsted and is part of a national footprint offering development, support and progression opportunities. We also operate a fostering service and several specialist schools in the UK and the Middle East.
We are looking for an inspiring manager who will lead and develop the team, plan activities and create life opportunities for every young person, taking into account each individual’s needs.
Responsibilities
* Lead the home and work with the wider Aspris Group to develop and inspire both staff and children to achieve their full potential.
* Plan activities and create opportunities that meet each young person’s needs in a safe, caring, nurturing, family environment.
* Lead and manage a staff team in a residential setting and ensure safeguarding and welfare of children.
Qualifications
* Do you have a wide range of experience as a childcare practitioner, having managed teams within a residential setting?
* Do you have a Level 5 Diploma/DipSW qualification or be prepared to work for it?
* Do you put children and young people at the centre of all that you do?
* Do you have a full driving licence?
