Contract Mechanical Design Engineer
6 –12 month contract (rolling)
Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Inventor or SolidWorks experience to undertake a varied long–term contract.
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a solid background in Inventor or SolidWorks to work on a New Product Development project, undertaking detailed conceptual design and supporting the complete project life cycle.
As Contract Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the ability to :
* Undertake Mechanical Design of New Product Development (complete product Life–cycle)
* Undertake detailed designs using 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Inventor)
* Concept Generation
* Produce Documentation to support Development
* Knowledge of manufacturing methods
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have;
* Proven mechanical design experience within a fast–paced development environment (Ideally 4–5 years min)
* Experience working on instrumentation or complex bespoke equipment/machinery
* 3D CAD – SolidWorks or Inventor
* Full Product Life–cycle Design Experience.
