ROLE DESCRIPTION – OPERATIONS MANAGER

ROLE OVERVIEW
* Role Title: Operations Manager
* Function: Operations & Legal Support
* Location: UK (London-based, with ability to commute to London meetings at least 2 days/week)
* Reporting To: COO / General Counsel
* Salary Range: £60K + Bonus + Share Options
Important note: This is a fast-paced startup role with ambitious growth targets and meaningful equity upside, but it demands comfort with ambiguity and rapid change. If you're looking for a stable corporate role with established systems and processes, this won't be the right fit. You'll manage the scale-up our operations across the UK and India, whilst helping to build business structures and systems that will provide a strong platform for future success.

MISSION OF ROLE
The Operations Manager at Kabuni is a critical role that bridges day-to-day operational execution with Legal, Finance, Technology, HR, Partnerships / Marketing and Customer Support teams under the direction of the COO.
As the business works towards its product launch, you will be responsible for coordinating major events in the UK and India, often involving well known sports people. As well as UK operations, you will assist with the build-out of the India-based team.

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES
* Operational Execution: Able to implement and manage operational processes with minimal supervision.
* Legal Support Acumen: Basic understanding of legal documentation and ability to support contract management. Experience working with contracts and/or in a legal department is a plus.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience Requirements
* 3-5 years of professional experience in operations, administration, or similar roles
* Prior experience in rapidly scaling organizations (startup/scale-up phase preferred)
* Demonstrated experience with process implementation and system adoption
* Some exposure to basic contract management and documentation
* Experience supporting senior executives or cross-functional teams
* Experience working with contracts and/or in a legal department is a plus

Location & Availability
* Must be able to commute to London for meetings at least 2 days/week
* Available to start within one month (although 3 months will be considered for exceptional candidates)
* Comfortable with hybrid working model (2-3 days in office when established)
