About the Role:
As a Year 4 Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Work closely with the class teacher to support learning across all subjects
* Provide 1:1 and small group interventions as a Teaching Assistant for children who require additional support
* Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and lesson preparation
* Encourage independence, resilience, and positive attitudes to learning
* Contribute as a valued Teaching Assistant to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a caring, motivated, and reliable Teaching Assistant who can:
* Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents
* Demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in the classroom
* Use initiative to support the class teacher and take on Teaching Assistant responsibilities confidently
* Understand safeguarding and put pupil wellbeing first
* Hold a relevant qualification such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential)
