An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated admin assistant with an HNC or SVQ III in an office/administrative related subject or equivalent admin experience to join the Keep Well team.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of various software systems, office procedures, and the use of Microsoft Office packages, email, and the internet, along with a working knowledge of IT and databases.
Keep Well is a community-based early intervention service that aims to provide person-centred, health-focused assessments, along with health-promoting conversations and support to inspire health behaviour changes and prevent disease. It targets those most vulnerable in society to reduce inequalities in health and improve health and retention in work throughout Forth Valley.
The successful candidate will have experience and confidence in dealing with people (public and staff) at all levels within and outside the NHS.
The post-holder will possess excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills, an excellent telephone manner, and effective listening skills, with the ability to accurately note down directions/issues communicated. They will be able to prioritise their workload, use initiative, tact, and diplomacy to resolve issues effectively, knowing when to escalate to the line manager, and will have good customer handling skills. The ability to work accurately under pressure in a busy environment and a flexible approach are essential. The candidate should be able to work independently with some guidance but also effectively within a team.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential.
