Salary: £45 - 50k base salary DOE
Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a highly established CNC & Precision Engineering client actively seeking a skilled and industry proven CNC Programmer with proven ability working on Sliding Head Machines to join their Kent branch.
Position Overview:
* Set, operate, and program Citizen Sliding Head CNC machines (4 and 5 axis) to produce precision aerospace components to drawing and tolerance requirements.
* Carry out full machine setups including tooling, offsets, bar feeds, and first-off inspections to ensure smooth production.
* Edit and improve CNC programs to reduce cycle times and maintain quality and accuracy.
* Inspect parts using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges to meet ISO 9001 and aerospace standards.
* Complete production records, inspection reports, and traceability paperwork in line with AS9100 and customer requirements.
* Support continuous improvement, reduce scrap, and maintain high standards of machine care, safety, and housekeeping.
Position Requirements:
* Proven experience setting, operating, and programming Citizen Sliding Head CNC machines.
* Strong knowledge of 4 and 5 axis machining and sliding head lathe operations.
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and tight tolerance specifications.
* Experience working to ISO 9001 and AS9100 aerospace quality standards.
* Skilled in using inspection equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges.

* Overtime rates on top of salary
* Monday - Thrusday 08:00 - 17:00
* Friday 08:00 - 13:00
