Piper’s Vale Primary Academy Address: Raeburn Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 0EW Salary: £32,916 - £55,747 pa Hours: Full Time Contract: Permanent. Required from 1 September 2026 Reference: 8617 Leadership Pay Scales: L1 - L4 - £51,773 - £55,747 (qualified) Teacher pay scale: £32,916 - £51,048 plus TLR2a (trainee SENCo) Piper’s Vale Primary Academy is seeking an inspirational and highly motivated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo). As described in the attached job description and person specification, you will be responsible for the management of all additional support given to pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities within the Academy. This will be a demanding, varied and highly challenging role that will provide an excellent career opportunity for an exceptional individual. You will report directly to the Principal. What you will offer You will have previous experience working as a SENCO. This will be a challenging role so you will need the drive and ability to demonstrate a passion for SEN and understand issues affecting pupils with additional needs and how to support them.
