Are you a Level 3 or 4 qualified Teaching Assistant with experience leading a classroom? We are seeking skilled and passionate High-Level Teaching Assistants to support various primary schools in the Fleetwood area, starting this September!
This dynamic role offers you the chance to combine class leadership with hands-on support. As an HLTA, you'll be a vital part of the teaching team, responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classes.
Our partner schools need HLTAs to cover PPA time and teacher absences, as well as to provide crucial intervention or 1:1 support. This is a great opportunity to take on a wide range of responsibilities and advance your career.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead the classroom by delivering planned lessons during teacher absences or PPA time.
* Collaborate with teachers to prepare lesson resources and class displays.
* Provide targeted support to students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
* Maintain a safe and positive learning environment and manage student behaviour effectively.
* Liaise with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to education.
Essential Requirements:
* HLTA qualification (Level 3/4 or higher).
* Previous experience in a class leadership role.
* Confidence in managing challenging behaviours.
* A proactive and flexible approach, with a strong ability to build rapport with students.
