ROLE: Automotive Technician
LOCATION: Bolton
HOURS: Monday to Thursday 8.30 – 5.30. Friday 8.30- 5.00. 1 in 2 on a Saturday 8.30 – 12.30
SALARY: 35k basic, 50k ote + benefits
Flame Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Car Mechanic / Car Technician for our client’s main dealership in Bolton.
You will need to have previous Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Car Mechanic / Car Technician experience in a main or franchised dealership or an independent workshop. You will also need a full UK driving licence and tools.
Responsibilities
* Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
* Completing vehicle health checks and documentation accurately.
* Liaising with service advisors and ensuring clear communication with customers where needed.
* Upholding manufacturer and safety standards across all tasks.
* Mentoring junior technicians where appropriate and leading by example.
About you
* Experienced Vehicle Technician level qualifications
* Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a franchised dealership.
* Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to show initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
* A full UK driving licence.
