Kennington School is recruiting a Facilities Manager to start May 2026 Kennington School is a new SEN school for children on the autism spectrum, opening September 2026. Reporting to the Estates & Projects Director, the Facilities Manager will assume full accountability for the Estates function of this site. The successful candidate will be required to take a professional and proactive approach to grounds and buildings maintenance, and on-going improvement of the site, with strong knowledge of all relevant legislative, regulatory and good practice management, treating Health and Safety as a priority in all aspects of the operation. Good communication with a customer service focus for multiple stakeholders including the Principal, and the ability to work well in a busy and varied environment is important. The post holder may be required to manage other personnel whose appointments will be made in due course. This is a permanent full time role, 52 weeks a year. Uniform and tools are provided.
