Lead Enterprise Architect (Retail / Consumer)

Salary: Up to £150,000 + package
A global technology and consulting organisation is seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to define and deliver architectural strategy across retail, consumer goods, and related industries. This senior client-facing role combines strategic advisory, enterprise architecture, and sector innovation; helping leading brands reimagine how technology enables growth, efficiency, and customer engagement.
The Role
* Lead end-to-end architecture for large-scale transformations spanning digital commerce, supply chain modernisation, and customer experience.
* Shape sector-specific architecture roadmaps that align with emerging trends such as AI-driven personalisation, ESG, and omnichannel retail.
* Act as a strategic advisor to C-suite executives, guiding investment decisions and technology adoption.
* Drive collaboration with partners and hyperscalers to enhance offerings across cloud, data, and AI ecosystems.
* Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary architecture teams across major transformation programmes.
Experience Required
* 12+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, ideally across Retail, CPG, or Consumer Markets.
* Proven track record leading architecture strategy for Tier-1 clients on digital or cloud transformation programmes.
* Deep expertise in cloud-native, microservices, and API-driven architectures, with strong understanding of data, analytics, and cybersecurity.
* Broad familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Adobe, Oracle, or Microsoft D365.
* Strong capability modelling, roadmap development, and stakeholder influence at executive level.
* Recognised certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP, or SAFe desirable.
