We're supporting a leading engineering business in their search for a
CNC Programmer
to join their team on a
12-month fixed-term contract
. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-precision projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop manufacturing solutions aligned with company standards
* Create CNC programs (Milling, Lathes, Mill-Turns, EDM) using SolidCAM
* Produce stage drawings and fixture designs using SolidWorks
* Support shop-floor operations and troubleshoot manufacturing challenges
* Collaborate with subcontract machinists and supply chain teams
* Drive continuous improvement and support capital expenditure projects
What We're Looking For:
* Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering
* Strong experience with SolidCAM, SolidWorks, and CNC machining
* Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Eligibility for UK SC clearance
