Job Duties:
* Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
* Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure continuity in education
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
* Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and any issues that arise
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Enhanced DBS check
* Previous experience working as a teacher in a school setting
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional subject specialisms or certifications
Working Conditions:
* Work in a school setting with students of varying ages and abilities
* Potential for temporary placements in different schools
* Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student learning and well-being

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
