We are looking for a Junior Buyer, based at our Head Office in Barton-Upon-Humber. The position is full-time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30.
Main responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate pricing, product and supplier information in internal systems
* Update forecasting tools and align usage data with suppliers
* Assist with supplier negotiations under the guidance of Buyers or Managers
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholder to identify trends and alternative supply options
* Assist with departmental reporting, KPI tracking and collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Customer Service, Technical, Marketing) on supplier-related or product-related projects
About You
Skills & Knowledge:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* High attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Experience in a commercial, supply chain or admin support role preferred but not essential
