Overview
We are looking to recruit a 4-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 528-branch located at 5 Bridge End, Chester-Le-Street, DH3 3RE. Training will be during the week and once completed it will be a Saturday shift as below. The proposed shift pattern is Saturday 09:00-13:00. Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to you successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.
Responsibilities
* Dispending and labeling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
* Assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
* Maintaining a high level of attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, with a desire to learn and progress within the business.
* Working as part of a well-established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Ideally has previous customer service experience and is willing to undertake relevant training courses to progress.
* Willingness to undertake the Counter Course and NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing.
* Good people skills and strong communication abilities.
