Bath College is seeking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Staff to join our inclusive and learner-focused support team.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide effective support to learners with additional needs in lessons and across the wider college environment.
* Promote learner independence, confidence, engagement and achievement.
* Enable learners to develop strategies and skills that support participation and long-term success.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams to implement appropriate support approaches.
* Contribute to a positive, inclusive and aspirational learning environment.
* Support learner wellbeing and uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times.
* Maintain appropriate records and contribute to reviews of learner progress and support arrangements.

* A willingness to undertake further professional development, including the Level 5 apprenticeship opportunity where applicable.
* Previous experience of supporting young people, adults or learners with additional needs would be advantageous, although applicants with the right values, potential and commitment will also be welcomed.
