We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support verbal and non-verbal pupils with ASD within a specialist resource base in a mainstream secondary school.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing 1:1 support for pupils with ASD
* Supporting communication, sensory regulation and routines
* Implementing individual support and behaviour plans
* Promoting independence, engagement and emotional regulation
* Working closely with teachers and SEN/ALN staff
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
Experienced supporting pupils with ASD (verbal and non-verbal)
* Calm, patient and consistent in their approach
* Confident using structured routines and positive behaviour strategies
