Key Responsibilities

Client Management

* Respond promptly and professionally to client queries, delivering excellent service at every touchpoint.
* Build and maintain strong relationships, understanding each client’s unique insurance needs.
* Assist with policy preparation, renewals, and mid-term adjustments, ensuring accuracy and seamless service.
* Offer expert advice and identify opportunities to enhance client cover and satisfaction.

Policy Administration

* Process new business, renewals, amendments, and cancellations efficiently and accurately.
* Check and issue policy documentation, ensuring full compliance with company procedures.
* Maintain accurate client records in line with regulatory requirements.
* Liaise with insurers to secure competitive terms and ensure all cover meets client needs.
* Support Account Executives in negotiating premiums and policy terms.

Compliance and Regulation

* Uphold FCA regulations and ensure compliance in every aspect of your work.
* Keep up to date with market changes and evolving compliance requirements.

Collaboration and Teamwork

* Work closely with Account Executives and other team members to ensure seamless service.
* Share knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
* Support and mentor junior colleagues where needed.

About You

Attributes: Skills: Qualifications

Candidates must meet the essential criteria through relevant experience or demonstrated transferable skills. However, desirable attributes, skills, and qualifications will be considered a strong advantage.

* Experience in a similar account handling role within the insurance sector (or demonstrated transferable skills for Assistant level).
* Knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
* Proficiency in using insurance platforms and client management systems.
* Understanding of compliance responsibilities, including FCA regulations, Consumer Duty obligations, and related standards.
* Ability to ensure all client and policy documentation meets regulatory and company compliance requirements.
* ACII qualification or a willingness to work towards it.
* Experience with Acturis or similar insurance systems.
