Key Responsibilities:

As we continue to expand rapidly, we are seeking dedicated and experienced Auto Electrician / HGV Technician to join our dynamic team in London. Main Tasks:
* Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
* Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
* Ensure that all vehicle defects and associated job cards are completed in a timely manner.
* Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of vehicles and electrical equipment, including diagnostic and inspection duties.
* Adhere to regulations, and technical standards, ensuring proper use of issued stores and equipment.
Diagnostics
* Identify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and manual techniques, including Fuel Pumps.
Servicing & Maintenance
* An understanding of power inverters, battery modules, fuel dispensers and electrical accessories / components essential.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, and inspections.
* Check and replace worn or damaged parts like, but not limited to batteries, and filters etc.
Repairs
* Repair or replace malfunctioning parts such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and exhausts.
Compliance & Safety Checks
* Ensure vehicles meet DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) compliance & regulations.
Key Attributes:
* 3 years’ experience as an HGV Auto Electrician / HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter.
* Be apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Class 1 or 2 Licence desirable.
* Multi-site and travel require.

* Follow instruction of Company Management and maintain obligations as per your contract of Employment and all company processes and procedures.
Working hours:
24 – 7 operation and therefore working outside of ‘usual hours’ may be required, however, this position is mainly Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary £40k – 45k
