We are now seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen with vision, consistency, and confidence someone who respects classic flavours but is also comfortable contributing fresh ideas to help us continue evolving our food offering. The Role: As Head Chef, you will: Lead and manage a small, focused kitchen team. Develop seasonal menus rooted in British and European traditions, with space for contemporary influence Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food quality, GP management, supplier relations, and hygiene standards Deliver consistently excellent food across la carte service, Sunday roasts, and weddings/functions Collaborate with ownership on gradual menu development and event planning What Were Looking For: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a quality restaurant or hotel environment Strong foundation in British and European cuisine, with an interest in fresh, modern flavour development Strong knowledge of food costing, stock control, and team leadership A calm, organised and reliable presence in the kitchen Ability to work collaboratively and lead by example What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience Creative input on menu evolution and event offerings Free on-site parking and staff meals A supportive management team and a stable, independent workplace in a well-respected venue Hours: Full-time | 5 days per week including weekends | No late-night service Job Type: Full-time Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year Benefits: Flexitime
